Pero Like, Go for a Walk

Make time for your wellness or you will be forced to make time for your illness.
— Shaq

This idea literally came to me on a walk. The way I feel mid walk is unreal.

When was the last time you talk a walk just because?

I can’t began to describe the power of a walk. The power of getting outside and getting grounded.

Most ideas come to me on a walk.

Walks help me not catch a case. LOL.

One thing I’ve learned is when feeling down, go for a walk, when feeling anxiety, go for a walk, when feeling sluggish, go for a walk, when feeling depressed, go for a walk, when you need to clear your mind, go for a walk, when you need to sort something out, go for a walk. Especially outside. The power of Vitamin D, getting outside, putting your feet to the pavement is unreal.

I feel like my brain gets reactivated.

I am actually on a walk as I type this in my notes on my phone. I often wonder what my “purpose” is. As I was on my walk this morning, the spirit told me my purpose is to share, to inspire, to give light, to share about things people may not even realize.

Some people, in fact, most people don’t realize the power in a walk and I’m not talking just for physical wellness but for your mental health. The silent battles we often deal with can sometimes be alleviated with something as simple as getting outside, going for a walk, and just getting clear.

Like Shaq said, “Make time for your wellness or you will be forced to make time for your illness” and I truly believe that — physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Make time for that walk.

When I tell you going for a walk will save you life I mean it.

Being your best self starts with a clean mind.

Not gonna lie. Some walks are rough. Sometimes walking is boring but be grateful that you get to walk.

For the entire walk I just want it to be over. I try not to have that mindset, enjoy the process, and focus on nothing but gratitude.

No matter how I feel during my walk, even on my worse days, I never regret doing it.

No one ever says I shouldn't have done that walk. What they will say is how good they feel after doing it and how happy they are they did it.

Next time you are on a walk remember, “This is the peace that you cannot buy”.

On your walk, be alone in your thoughts, you may laugh, you may cry, but you will grow.

Use this time to strategize and create your best life. I see so many people on Facebook posting about struggling, posting nonsense, literally having mental breakdowns. Put your phones down, go for a walk, and get it together babe. Social media is not therapy.

Use this time to talk to your higher power, meditate.

Walking beats any medication.

Start with 10 mins a day.

Walking is self care and self care is not selfish.

The quickest way to change your mind and your energy, is to move your body.

I promise you, next time you feel some type of way. Go for a walk.

Thank me later.

Love ya.
